Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering 2013, Volume 7, Issue 1,   Pages 103-109 doi: 10.1007/s11705-013-1315-8

Abstract: A series of tensile and ratcheting experiments for compacted polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and bronzefilled PTFE (PTFE/bronze) were conducted on dynamic mechanical analyzer (DMA-Q800).PTFE/bronze were investigated.Additionally, the DSED and ratcheting strain of PTFE/bronze are much lower than those of pure PTFE underIt is also found that both pure PTFE and PTFE/bronze present cyclic hardening characteristics.
